Pervez Radium & Number Plate

You can find us over on Capper Road, right near the old Novelty Cinema in Lalbagh. It’s a busy part of town. We’ve been making number plates and doing radium work here for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent working with the stickers and the plates for cars and bikes. It gets pretty crowded around here, especially in the evenings. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The shop is small, but it fits everything we need. If you are looking for us, just head towards the cinema and we are right there. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a counter and the tools we use every day. People come in with their vehicles, and we get to work. Sometimes we’re waiting on the radium rolls to come in, but usually, we have enough stock. Lalbagh is a place where everyone knows everyone. We get a lot of locals coming in. We don’t use any big machines; it’s mostly handwork and some basic cutters. It’s a simple living for us. We don’t really change much, just keep doing the same plates and stickers year after year. It’s what we know. The noise from the street is always there, but you get used to it. Just a regular spot on Capper Road. We've seen the cinema change owners and the shops around us come and go.
