Our office is situated at 3/443 in Vivek Khand, which is part of the Gomti Nagar area in Lucknow. We are quite close to the Trinka Hotel, so that is usually what we tell people when they are trying to find us for the first time. Gomti Nagar is a big place, but Vivek Khand has its own feel to it. The office is not very large, but it serves its purpose for the daily operations we run. We have some basic furniture, a few computers, and a lot of files that seem to pile up no matter how much we organize them. Working here means we see the neighborhood waking up every morning. It is a bit quieter than the center of the city, which we appreciate. We spend a lot of time on the phone or coordinating things from our desks. The staff here has been together for a while, so we have our own way of doing things that might seem a bit disorganized to an outsider, but it works for us. Sometimes we step out to the nearby stalls for a quick snack or a tea break. The area around Trinka Hotel gets some visitors, so there is always some movement outside. We don’t have fancy signs or anything like that. It is just a regular office where we come to do our jobs every day and then head home once the sun goes down. It is a steady way to live and work.
