Our office is at Plot No 17, Khasra No 225 in Dhoran Khas. We are right opposite the Canal Road, near St. Xavier School. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the school is. The canal road is nice for a walk during break time, though it gets a bit muddy when it rains. The office itself is on a decent sized plot. We have plenty of room inside compared to some of the other places we’ve been. There is a lot of sunlight that comes in through the front windows in the morning. We do a lot of info-tech work, mostly just sitting and typing for hours. You can hear the school bells and the kids playing during their lunch break. It’s a lively area during the day but gets very quiet once school is out. We have a couple of old cupboards where we keep all the spare cables and keyboards. The floor is just plain concrete that’s been painted over. We have a small table in the corner where we keep the water cooler and some plastic cups. It’s a straightforward place to work. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls. Just the work and us. We like being in Dhoran Khas because it’s easy for most of us to get to. It feels like a normal part of the neighborhood where people just go about their business.
