Modern Electronics is tucked away in Vijay Nagar Naka Hindola. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded around here, especially in the evenings when everyone is out and about. Our shop has been in this same spot for a long time. It’s a small place, packed floor to ceiling with all sorts of electronic bits, wires, and tools that we’ve gathered. We don’t really have a big showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a workshop where we spend our hours fixing things and testing out new parts. The shelves are a bit dusty, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what we’re looking for in the back room, but we eventually get there. The tea stall nearby is a regular stop for us throughout the day. We talk to the neighbors and the local delivery guys who come by with packages. Working in Hindola means you’re always in the middle of the action. It can be loud with the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We aren't interested in being the biggest company or having the flashiest sign. We just like working with our hands and seeing things work again after they’ve been broken. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. Most of the guys here have been with us for years, so we’re a tight group. We just do our thing every day and see what comes through the door.
