Our office is Flat No. 301 in the Gulmarg Apartment building at number 5a on Jopling Road. It’s an interesting spot because it’s an apartment building that houses several different businesses. Dialus India Solutions Pvt. Ltd. takes up the space in 301. It still feels a bit like a home, with the way the rooms are divided. We’ve converted the living area into the main workspace and the bedrooms into smaller offices or meeting spots. Jopling Road is a well-known area, and Gulmarg Apartment is one of those buildings that has been around for decades. The elevator is one of those old ones with the manual gate, so we often just take the stairs to the third floor. There’s a certain charm to working in a place like this. It’s not sterile like a glass tower. We have curtains on the windows and a small kitchen where we make tea. The plumbing can be a bit temperamental sometimes, but we’ve learned how to deal with it. Outside, Jopling Road is usually buzzing with people and cars. We are tucked away just enough to have some peace. It’s a comfortable place to spend the day. We don't have a big lobby or a fancy reception desk. You just ring the bell and come on in. It’s been our base at number 5a for a while now, and we like the neighborhood.
