Our office is over in Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar, specifically at Tcg-3/3. This is one of the newer, busier parts of Lucknow, so there are always lots of cars and people around. We are located in a tall building with several other offices, which means the elevators are always a bit slow and crowded in the mornings. Our space is just a regular office floor with partitioned desks and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to overflow. We have a nice view of the street from the main window, and it is interesting to watch the city change as the day goes on. The carpet is a bit worn in the high-traffic areas, and we have a white board that never seems to get completely clean no matter how much we scrub it. We drink a lot of coffee here, mostly because there is a decent machine in the corner that someone finally figured out how to fix. Most of us have been working together for a while, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed despite the amount of work we have to get through. We do not have any grand decorations or corporate slogans on the walls, just some photos from the last office lunch and a lot of sticky notes. It is a solid, everyday place to work in a good part of town, and we are happy with the way things are set up here.
