We are located in the Aashiyana area of Lucknow, over in Sector-K at house 1160-A. It is more of a residential neighborhood, so it does not feel like those big cold office parks you see in other cities. There are trees along the street and you can hear the local vegetable sellers calling out in the mornings. Our office is basically a converted house, which gives it a bit of a homey feel, though we have filled the rooms with enough computers and monitors to make it look like a proper workspace. The main room has a large window that looks out onto a small patch of garden that we try to keep green, but the Lucknow heat usually wins that battle. We have a small kitchen area where we make way too much tea every day. The furniture is a mix of things we have picked up over time, so nothing really matches, but the chairs are comfortable enough for long hours. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing cricket outside and a ball hits the gate, which usually startles everyone. It is a quiet enough place to focus on our tech projects without too much distraction. We do not have a receptionist or anything like that; usually, whoever is closest to the door just gets up to see who it is. It is a simple way of working, and we like being tucked away in this part of town rather than being in a busy commercial center.
