Hotel Deep Palace

Hotel Deep Palace sits right on Cantt Road, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Most days it’s just us handling the daily arrivals and departures. The building isn’t anything fancy to look at from the outside, but it does what it needs to do. Cantt Road can get pretty busy with traffic during the morning hours, but once you get inside the rooms, things quiet down a bit. We spend a lot of our time checking the linens and making sure the water is running right in the bathrooms. Sometimes the lobby gets crowded when a big group shows up all at once, and we just try to get everyone their keys as fast as we can. It’s a straightforward kind of place to work. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. You’ll mostly find people who just need a spot to sleep after a long day of travel. The staff knows the area well, so if someone asks where to get a decent tea, we point them down the street. It feels like a neighborhood spot more than anything else. We see the same faces passing by the entrance every day. It’s just how things are here on this stretch of the road. We keep the doors open and wait for whoever comes in next. It isn't a complicated business, just a hotel on Cantt Road where people stop for the night.
