Graphic Star

Our shop, Graphic Star, is located in the S-1 Plaza over in Hazratganj. If you spend any time in Lucknow, you know that Hazratganj is a place that is always on the move. We have been here for quite some time now, working on various design and printing tasks. Customers often walk in with an idea scribbled on a piece of paper or a file saved on a thumb drive, and we do our best to make it look right. Most of my time is spent sitting in front of a monitor and double-checking colors before we hit print. Sometimes the machines act up, which is just a normal part of the workday for us. We handle things like posters, business cards, and whatever else the local businesses might need. It is not a massive office, just a functional space where we can focus on the tasks at hand. We try to be very straightforward about what we can finish and how long the process will take. There is no need for big words to describe what we do here. It is just graphic work. We have seen different styles come and go over the years, but the basics of making things clear and easy to read never really change. Most of our day is spent navigating software and talking to people about their specific layouts. It is a decent way to make a living and being in the heart of the city is interesting. There is always something new to look at every single day we are here.
