We work out of the E-Block in the Surajdeep Complex. This is Eighteen Pixels India Pvt Ltd. Our office is on the 1st Floor at 1-Jopling Road. We are quite close to the Dainik Jagran Chauraha in the Hazratganj area. If you know Lucknow, you know how busy Hazratganj gets, especially in the evenings. The complex itself is pretty standard for this part of town. Our office has a few windows that look out toward the street, so we can see the traffic building up throughout the afternoon. It’s a decent-sized space, but we’ve managed to fill it up with desks, cabinets, and a whole lot of cables. The carpet is a bit worn down in the spots where we roll our chairs back and forth. We have a small area for making coffee, but the microwave is a bit temperamental. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we have a routine down. We usually start around ten and stay until the work is done. It’s not a very formal environment; we wear whatever is comfortable and talk about whatever is on our minds while we work. The location is the best thing about it since we are close to everything, but the office itself is just a regular, functional workspace where we get things done. We usually leave once the streetlights on Jopling Road are all on.
