Divya Art is tucked away in D-13, Cimap Colony, over in Vikas Nagar. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty peaceful most of the time. I use one of the rooms as my main workspace. There are brushes in jars everywhere and half-finished canvases leaning against the walls. It’s not the most organized place, but I know where everything is. Living and working in the same spot means I can start whenever I feel like it, even if it's late at night. The light in Vikas Nagar is good in the mornings, so I try to do my most detailed painting then. I don't really have a staff, it’s mostly just me doing the work and maybe a family member helping with the packing. People from the colony sometimes drop by to see what’s new. I don't have a storefront with big windows. It’s just a home-based setup where the creativity happens. Sometimes the cat walks across a wet painting, which is a bit of a disaster, but that’s just life. I sell some pieces locally and some go further away. It’s a modest way to live, but I enjoy the freedom of it. Cimap Colony is a nice place to be, and having my little art corner here makes it feel like home. We don't do any big promotions. If someone likes the work, they usually find a way to get it.
