Akriti Art Hub is located at 8/101 in the New Malhar area of Sahara State, which is part of Jankipuram. It’s a bit of a quiet neighborhood, but inside our doors, things are usually a lot more colorful. We have paints, brushes, and canvases stacked up against almost every wall. Sometimes we run out of space to walk because someone is working on a large project on the floor. It isn't a fancy gallery with white walls and soft lights; it’s more of a place where things actually get made. You might find some dried paint on the door handles or a bit of charcoal dust on the chairs. We spend our days helping people figure out what they need for their own art or working on pieces that have been ordered. The windows are large enough to let in some good sunlight, which is important when you’re trying to get the colors right. We have an old radio that plays in the background, though the reception isn't always great. People from the nearby blocks usually just walk over when they need a new tube of blue or some better paper for their sketches. It’s a messy, busy place, and that’s just how we like it. We don’t really worry about making everything look perfect for customers because they understand that art is a bit chaotic and requires a lot of space to breathe. We just keep creating and hope for the best.
