Deco Shop

Deco Shop is located at Shop No-1314 in Gomti Nagar. We are quite close to Haniman Chauraha, which is a busy intersection that everyone in this part of town knows. Our shop is not very large, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. It gets a bit crowded when we have more than three people in here at once. We spend most of our time organizing the items on the shelves or talking to the people who walk in from the street. Gomti Nagar is a lively area, and there is always something happening outside our door. Sometimes the noise from Haniman Chauraha is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard. We don't have any polished displays or bright neon lights. It is just a regular shop with wooden counters and some old ceiling fans that creak a little when they are on high. We keep a ledger on the desk to track what we do each day. Most of our work is just handling the day-to-day needs of people who stop by. We’ve had this spot for a while now and we know the rhythms of the neighborhood, like when the traffic peaks and when it gets quiet for a few minutes in the afternoon. We drink a lot of chai and keep the place as tidy as we can, though it’s hard with all the inventory. It is just Deco Shop, nothing more or less, and we're fine with that.
