We have been working out of the second floor of the Kapda Kothi Building for a while now. Most people in Lucknow know the building because of the clothing shop on the ground floor, which makes it easy to give directions. We are right at the Neelgiri Tiraha in Indira Nagar. It is a busy spot. You can hear the auto-rickshaws honking all day from the windows. Our office is not one of those fancy glass places you see in movies. It is just a regular workspace with desks, chairs, and too many computer cables running along the floor. We do not have a formal reception desk or a person waiting to greet you. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. We spend a lot of our time drinking tea from the stall nearby and staring at our screens. The stairs to the second floor are a bit steep, so we get a little workout every morning. Our team is small and we mostly just focus on the tech work we have in front of us. We are not trying to be some massive corporation. We are just local people in the 226016 area making a living. Sometimes the internet acts up or it gets too hot in the summer, but we manage. It is a practical place to work and we like being part of the Indira Nagar community. Most of us live within a few kilometers.
