Balloon Arcade

Balloon Arcade is tucked away in the lower ground floor of B.M Plaza on Naval Kishor Road. If you know Hazratganj in Lucknow, we are right opposite the Uco Bank. It’s a small shop, and sometimes it feels even smaller because of all the bags of balloons and helium tanks we have stored here. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. People come in looking for something for a birthday or a party. It’s not a high-tech business. It’s mostly about colors and making sure the ribbons are tied tight enough. The air in here always feels a bit different because of the latex. We spend a lot of time blowing up balloons until our fingers get sore. Hazratganj is always busy, so finding parking nearby is a nightmare for us and our customers. We don't have a big corporate strategy. We just open the shop in the morning and see who comes in. Sometimes it’s a grandparent buying one balloon for a grandkid, and sometimes it’s someone wanting the whole room filled. We treat everyone the same. We’ve seen trends change over the years, from simple round balloons to these big shiny foil ones. It’s just a local shop in a busy part of Lucknow. We aren't fancy, we just do balloons and try to make sure they don't pop before the party.
