Ashtak Infocom Llp is over in Virat Khand-4 in Gomti Nagar. If you know Lucknow, you know this part of the city can get pretty crowded, but our spot at 4/248 is easy enough to find. We are basically a small team of people who spend most of our time staring at screens and answering emails. It’s not the kind of place with a big shiny sign outside. We just have our office set up here and we deal with all the typical infocom stuff that comes our way. The weather in Lucknow can be quite something, so we spend a lot on electricity just to keep the AC running during those long afternoons. We usually order lunch from nearby or someone brings home-cooked food and we all eat together in the small break area. It’s a very casual atmosphere. We talk about work, sure, but we also talk about cricket or whatever else is happening in the neighborhood. We’ve been operating from this address for some time now and it feels like home. We don’t go for those big fancy presentations. We just do the work, send the invoices, and move on to the next thing. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it works for us. Sometimes the internet goes down for a bit and we all have to wait around, but that’s just how it is here. It’s part of the daily routine for us.
