We are based out of Belkund in Ausa, Latur. It’s a quiet place, mostly farms and families who have been working the soil for generations. Our group, Yashodip Farmer Producer Company Limited, started because the local growers needed a way to handle things more efficiently. It isn't always easy out here in Latur with the weather and the water levels, but we manage. Khandu Keshav Ubale is our contact person, and his place is where we handle most of our paperwork and planning. We spend our mornings checking on the crops and our afternoons talking about logistics. It’s hard work, the kind that leaves dirt under your fingernails. We don't have a fancy office or a big team of corporate managers. It’s just us, the local farmers from around Po Belkund, trying to get our produce to the market without losing too much in the process. Sometimes the roads are rough and the prices are unpredictable, but that’s the life we chose. We’ve known each other for years, so trusting each other comes naturally. We just want to make sure the work we do in the fields translates into something sustainable for our families. There are no big speeches here, just the daily routine of planting, harvesting, and figuring out what comes next for the season. We’re glad to be part of this community and hope to keep it going for a long time. It is a simple life.
