Our group is located in Ujani, which is part of the Ausa area in Latur. We operate out of Balaji Vishwanath Walake’s place. Being a women’s producer company, things are often quite busy with everyone balancing home life and the work we do here. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We mostly meet up, figure out what crops need attention, and share the workload. The address is 413512 if you are looking it up on a map. Latur has its challenges with water and heat, but we manage. We aren't doing this for show. It’s just about making sure our farming efforts actually amount to something at the end of the year. Sometimes the meetings are loud and long, but that is how we get things settled. You can find us at the Walake house most days. We keep our tools and some supplies there too. It's a practical arrangement that works for us. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Word of mouth in Ujani is how most people know about the Vishwatanaya group. We are just a bunch of local women trying to get the best out of our land. It’s hard work, but being together makes it a bit easier to handle the market stuff. We just focus on the daily tasks and hope the rain stays steady throughout the season.
