Tatya-Aai Agro Producer Company Limited

Down here in Latur, specifically in Malwati, we run Tatya-Aai Agro Producer Company Limited. The office is actually at Rajkumar Abasaheb Patil’s place. It’s more of a home than a company office if you look at it. We named it after parents because that’s how we feel about the work. We handle stuff for the farmers around the Tq Latur area. It’s hard work, honestly. Most days we are out talking to people or checking on the crops. Latur gets very dry so we spend a lot of time thinking about water and seeds. We aren't trying to be some big global brand. We just want to make sure the people in our village and nearby have what they need. Some of us grew up right here in Malwati. We know the soil. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the bags and ledgers lying around. That’s life in an agro company though. We don’t have fancy chairs or a reception desk. You just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting there. Usually, it's Rajkumar or one of the other guys. We share tea and discuss the prices for the season. It’s a group effort really. Everyone chips in where they can. If the crops are good, we are happy. If not, we figure it out together. That is pretty much how we operate every single day of the year.
