We are located at H. No. 1052 in Wadwal Na, which is a small area in Chakur, part of the Latur district. Most of us here have been farming our whole lives because that is just what people do in this part of the country. Shri Vatsidha Nagnath Farmer Producer Company Limited was started because we needed a way to organize what we grow. It is mostly just a few of us sitting around talking about seeds and the weather. The rains in Latur can be unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time worrying about that. Our office is just a simple room in the house. You can usually find someone there in the mornings before the sun gets too hot. We deal with whatever the local farmers bring in, like pulses or grains. It is not some big corporate operation with shiny desks. We use regular notebooks and pens to keep track of everything. Sometimes the internet is slow so we just wait. People in Wadwal Na know where to find us if they have questions about their crops. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us working with our hands and trying to get a fair deal for the hard work put into the soil. Life here is slow but the work is constant. We just keep going day by day and hope the harvest is good enough to pay the bills. That is really all there is to it.
