Shri Tukamai Agrifarm Farmer Producer Company Limited

You can find our office over at Kamtha Phata, right near the post office in the village of Ghoda. We are part of the Kalamnuri area in Hingoli district. This company was started by a bunch of local farmers who wanted to work as a group instead of trying to fight the big markets individually. It’s a small operation, and we don’t have a lot of staff. Most of our time is spent out in the actual fields or at the collection point near the main road. The address is pretty easy to find if you are familiar with the 431702 area. We handle all kinds of crops that grow well in this part of Hingoli. It isn't anything fancy or polished. We don't have big marketing teams or anything like that. It is just the local guys and their families involved in the day-to-day farming tasks. Sometimes we all meet up at the Phata to talk about the prices or the quality of the seeds we’re using for the next season. Life moves at a bit of a slower pace here, and we focus on the practical side of things. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in running a producer company, which we try to keep up with, but the real work is always in the soil. It’s dusty and the sun can be really hot, but we’ve been doing this for a long time. We named it after Tukamai because we respect the name. We just want to farm and get a fair deal.
