We are based at House No.104 in Patoda Kd, which is part of the Ahmedpur Taluka. Shree Sant Madhavbaba Farmers Producer Company Limited is a local group, mostly made up of neighbors and families from around here. We started this because it felt right to have a central point for our farming activities. The house we use for the company is right in the village, so it is easy for anyone to stop by after they are done in the fields. We don't have any formal corporate training. We just know how to grow things and how to talk to each other. The daily routine is pretty simple. We meet up in the morning, discuss what needs to be done for the day, and then go do it. Sometimes we are sorting grain, other times we are talking about the water situation. Patoda Kd is a quiet place for the most part, but we stay busy. We don’t have a website or any big advertisements. People just know us because we live here. We try to keep the records straight and the crops moving. It is a lot of responsibility, but we prefer it this way. Being a producer company means we look out for each other. We have our fair share of arguments about how to do things, but in the end, we just want the work to get finished properly. It’s about the land and the people we know.
