Shree Dhondopantdada Farmers Producer Company Limited is located in a village called Sonwati. It is in the Latur Taluka of the Latur district here in Maharashtra. Our main spot is at Gat No. 169. We are a producer company, which basically means a bunch of us farmers came together to do business. We are not professional writers, so this might sound a bit plain. Latur is our home and the 413512 pin code area is where we spend all our time. We do not have a fancy office building with elevators. It is just a place at Post Sonwati where we meet up and get things organized. Running a company like this involves a lot of talking and planning about crops and seasons. We just want to work together to make things a little better for everyone involved. It is a lot of hard work out in the sun and then some more work in the office. We named the company after someone important to us. There are no big marketing plans here, just local people trying to handle their produce and sales. Being at Gat No. 169 means we are right in the middle of things. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep everything moving. It is a practical setup for a group of farmers. We are just doing our best with what we have. It is not always easy but it is what we do.
