We are just a group of local people who decided to work together instead of trying to do everything alone. It is a very simple office, nothing like what you see in the big cities. We have some chairs and a table where we sit and discuss what needs to happen with the crops. In Latur, the water situation is always on our minds, so we talk about that a lot. We aren't experts with fancy degrees; we are just people who have been on the land for a long time. Some days the sun is so hot we can't do much but sit in the shade and plan. We don't have a big sign or a fancy entrance. People just know where we are because they have known us for years. We handle the paperwork for the farmers and try to get the best for the group. It is a slow process to build something like this, but we are patient. We just take it day by day and hope for a good harvest.
