Even though our name says Punekar Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited, we are actually based in Bellurtq, Ahmedpur, which is in the Latur district. You can find us at house number 219, care of Balaji Pune. It is a little bit confusing with the name, but that is just how it ended up when we registered. We are a group of farmers working the land here in Latur. It is a different kind of life than what you find in the big cities. We deal with the heat and the dry soil every single day. Being a producer company means we can pool our resources together. It is much better than trying to do everything solo when things get tough. We are not some big shiny corporation. Our office is just a regular house in Bellurtq. We spend most of our time out in the fields or checking on the equipment. Latur has its ups and downs with the weather, so we always have to stay on our toes. We do not have a bunch of fancy talk or a website full of big promises. We just grow what we can and try to sell it for a fair price. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. Most of us have been farming since we were just kids. Punekar Agro is just the name we use for the legal stuff. At the end of the day, we are just local guys from Ahmedpur trying to get by.
