Nandurga Farmer Producer Company Limited

We started Nandurga Farmer Producer Company Limited out of Ausa to get a handle on how we sell what we grow. It is mostly just local folks around the 275 Sutar Niwas area in Nandurga trying to figure things out together. Farming is tough, and doing it alone does not make much sense anymore. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds, the weather, and what the markets are doing this week. It is not a big office or anything fancy, just a room where we meet up. Usually, someone has a cup of tea, and we go over the numbers for the month. Some days are good, some are a struggle, but that is how it goes when you work with the land. We try to keep things simple. If a neighbor needs help with their crop or doesn't know where to take their harvest, they come by the house. There are plenty of us here now. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just make sure we get a fair shake for the work we put in every day. The monsoon was a bit late this year, so everyone has been on edge, but we manage. Being in Nandurga means we know everyone's face. It is about getting the tractors running and making sure the produce does not sit around too long in the sun. That is really all there is to it. We just show up and do the work.
