Maza Shetkari Agro Producer Companylimited is based right here in Ahmedpur. We operate out of Madhukar Aabasaheb Kshirsagar’s house in Ghatol Colony, near the college. It’s a busy little area with students walking around, but it works for us. Latur has always been a place where people know the value of hard work and good soil. We started this because we wanted to do something for the people growing crops around here. It isn't easy being a farmer these days with all the costs going up so fast. We sit in the office and talk about things like fertilizer prices and where to sell the grain. Sometimes we have a lot of people stop by and other days it is quiet. The address might look a bit complicated on paper but once you get to Ahmedpur, it’s not hard to find us at H No A-4339. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation with a big glass building. We are just local people trying to help each other out with the farming business. It takes a lot of time to get everything organized and the paperwork is a real pain. We spend our days making calls and checking on the fields. If you walk by Ghatol Colony, you might see us out front talking. We keep things pretty informal. There’s no need for suits or big speeches here. We just want to get the work done. That’s the way we like to do things.
