Matoshri Shetkari Producer Company Limited is located at house number 3694/5 in Ganeshnagar. That is in Renapur, part of the Latur district. We work out of Ganpat Kolhe’s place. It is a local effort, through and through. The farmers around here in Ganeshnagar decided that we would be better off if we had a collective name and a way to sell our stuff together. Latur can be a tough area for farming because of the water, so we have to be smart. Our company is really just a bunch of neighbors trying to make things work. We do not have an expensive office or polished furniture. We just have a place to meet and talk about our crops. Most of the time, we are busy with the actual farming, so the company stuff happens in the evenings or early mornings. We handle the seeds and the supplies we need for the season. It is not a corporate setup by any means. It is just us, the local farmers, trying to get a fair price and stay afloat. Everyone knows Ganpat’s place, so it was the easiest spot to set up. We do not try to sound like a big business because we are not. We are just hard-working people from Renapur who know the land. That is what matters most to us. We keep things straightforward and honest, just like the way we farm.
