Masalgekar Agro Producer Company Limited is located right here in Masalga, over at Annarao Madhavrao Pind’s house. You can find us at House Number 82/83A. It’s a quiet spot in the Nilanga area of Latur district. We are just a bunch of local people who have been farming this land for as long as we can remember. Some of us grow tur dal and others focus on different grains, depending on what the rain looks like each year. We ended up forming this company because the middleman was taking too much and we weren't left with much for our hard work. It isn't a polished operation with a lot of staff. Most of the time, it’s just a few of us sitting around on the porch discussing the price of fertilizer or how the monsoon is running late again. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big marketing team. We just use our own hands and the tractors we share. We are trying to learn how the paperwork works, which is honestly a bit of a headache for us. But we keep at it because it's better than the alternative. We just want to get the work done, get the crops sold, and make sure everyone in our group has enough to take care of their kids and their homes.
