Mahadevwadi Utkarsha Shetkari Producer Company Limited

Our group is the Mahadevwadi Utkarsha Shetkari Producer Company Limited. We are based in Mahadevwadi village, which is under the Udgir taluka in Latur. The office is actually located at Shri Chame Venkat Malba's place. Being a producer company means we are mostly farmers from this area working together. It’s a pretty quiet village most of the time. Most of us have been farming these lands here our whole lives. We eventually decided to get organized under this name to see if we could handle things better as a group instead of just working alone. Latur can be a tough place for farming when the rains don't come on time, but we try to help each other out. We don't have a big fancy building or anything, just the space there in the village. It’s easy to find us if you ask anyone in Mahadevwadi where we are. We usually meet up there in the evenings to talk about the crops and what the prices are doing. It’s not a corporate thing with suits and ties and all that. We just wear our regular work clothes. It’s about 413517 for the pin code. We try to keep the paperwork straight, though it takes a lot of time that we'd rather spend in the fields. There are quite a few members now. Everyone has their own ideas, so meetings can go on for a long time. But that’s just how it is here. We're just trying to make things work.
