Late Gundabai Kale Producer Company Limited is over in Kelgaon, specifically in the Nilanga taluka. Our place is House Number 332, right behind the ZP School. We named the company after Late Gundabai Kale to honor her memory, as she was a big part of our community. Namdev Baburao Kale helps manage things from his house. It’s a small operation, mostly focused on the farmers right here in the village. Being behind the school means there is always a bit of noise and activity around, which we don’t mind. We aren't trying to be some high-flying corporation. We are just a group of farmers who wanted to organize ourselves. We talk about seeds, water, and where to sell our produce. It’s the same things we’ve talked about for years, just now we have a company name on the paperwork. Sometimes it feels like a lot of extra work, but we think it helps in the long run. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you want to talk to us, you just come to the house in Kelgaon. It’s very informal and honest. We just want to do right by the people here and keep the farming tradition going in Nilanga. It’s practical work for practical people, and we are just trying to make a living from the land we know best.
