Krushipradhan Agro Producer Company Limited

Our little office is located at Ghar No. 53, over in the Girad Chawl area of Nilanga. It’s a part of Latur that feels very lived-in. Krushipradhan Agro Producer Company Limited is basically a group of us from around here trying to keep things moving. We are right by the P.O. Walsangavi. If you’ve ever been to Nilanga, you know it’s the kind of town where news travels fast and people look out for their neighbors. We spend a lot of time just sitting around the office, talking about the season and what the rains might look like this year. Latur can be tough for farming sometimes, but we all do what we can. The building itself isn't much to look at, just a regular place in the chawl where we keep our files and meet up. We aren't trying to be some huge company with fancy offices in Mumbai. We are just local people. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside in the shade until it comes back. It's a slow pace, but it works for us. We handle the paperwork for the farmers and try to stay on top of the regulations, which is honestly the hardest part. Mostly, it’s about making sure the local agricultural community has a place to come to. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who grew up around here.
