Harit Manas Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at Sadashiv Bidvena’s place in Masala. This is in the Latur district, and it is a typical farming area. We don't have a big corporate setup. It is more of a home-based office where the local farmers can come and talk. Masala is a small place, so everyone knows where Sadashiv lives. We mostly deal with the day-to-day problems that come up with growing things in this climate. Latur can get quite dry, so that is always on our minds. The company was set up to help the people in the village handle their produce better. There aren't any fancy brochures or sales pitches here. We just sit on the porch or in the main room and look at the numbers. It’s about the soil and the seeds more than anything else. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, but we get through it eventually. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the work in Masala gets noticed and handled right. If you come by, you’ll likely see a few motorbikes parked outside and men talking about the price of goods. It is a very local operation. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. It is just us, the land, and the farmers trying to make a living. There is always a lot of dust and a bit of noise, but that is just how Masala is during the harvest.
