We have been set up at House Number 12 in Ashiv for a while now. Dinkarrao B Mane Agro Industries Private Limited is mostly a family operation. Ausa is a very busy place during the harvest season, and we stay occupied with the agro work. It is a lot of manual labor and long hours. My uncle was the one who got this going and we have just kept it running ever since. We handle things here in Latur by dealing with whatever the local ground provides us. It is a small operation. We do not have fancy uniforms or a big front desk with a receptionist. If you come by to see us, you will probably find everyone in the back sheds or out near the storage area. The weather has been a bit strange lately, so that keeps us on our toes all the time. We have to watch our costs constantly. Everything is getting more expensive, especially the fuel and the parts for the machinery. We just try to provide the things that people around here actually need for their land. It is honest work, even if it leaves us exhausted by the evening. Sometimes we sit around when the sun goes down and talk about how much things have changed. But at the end of the day, the work still has to get done. We are not corporate people, just folks from Ashiv trying to make it somehow.
