You can find us in Morewadi, which is in the Ahmedpur area. The company is run from Madhukar Venkati Chame’s place. We are a farmer producer group. Ahmedpur is a rural area and most of us here have been involved in agriculture since we were kids. This company was started to give us a bit more power when it comes to buying things for our farms and selling what we grow. It's much better than trying to do it all by yourself. The office is just a room in the village where we keep our books. Morewadi is a tight-knit place. Everyone knows everyone else. When we have a meeting, people just walk over. We don't have any corporate slogans or big promises. We just look at the reality of the market and see what we can do. Some years are good and some are tough. Being together as a producer company helps us survive the tough ones. We focus on the crops that grow well in this soil. It’s a lot of talking and planning over tea. We don't use much technology, mostly just our hands and what we've learned over the years. It’s a simple life but it’s ours. We are just a bunch of farmers trying to make the most of our land in Ahmedpur. We aren't doing anything fancy, just working hard like we always have to keep things going.
