We are the Chakurparisar Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our address is C/O Omnath Suryakant Kokalgeat Gharni in Taluka Chakur. This is a company run by women from the local farming community. We started this because we wanted to have a say in how our produce is handled and sold. We are based out of a house in Gharni. It’s a very local operation. We don't have a big staff, just us women working together to make things better for our families. Omnath Suryakant Kokalgeat is where we meet to discuss our plans for the season. Chakur is our home and we know the land here very well. We talk about seeds, fertilizers, and where to sell our crops. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning. Usually, we are just sitting together, maybe with some tea, figuring out the budget or the transport for the next week. We deal with the same problems every farmer has, like the weather and the prices in the market. But doing it together as a Mahila group makes it a bit easier. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk. We just want to work hard and see our farms do well. Gharni is a small place and everyone knows what we are trying to do. It’s just about being practical and helping each other out in the village.
