Sridhar Furnitue & Wood Works

You can find our workshop at 13-1-55/E/4C in East Avanthi Nagar. We are tucked away in the Erragadda area. It is mostly a residential pocket, but it still feels busy enough for us. Sridhar Furnitue & Wood Works is not a massive factory. It is just a place where we get our hands dirty with different kinds of wood. The address is very specific, but most of the locals know the lane by heart. We have got piles of wood stacked against the back walls. Some of it has been sitting there for a while. We do a lot of cutting and fitting in the afternoons. You will hear the sound of the saw running most of the time. It makes a lot of noise, but the neighbors do not seem to mind much. We are not trying to look fancy for anyone. The floor is just bare concrete and usually covered in wood scraps. We make items that people actually use in their daily lives. It is just honest work. Sometimes we have problems with the power going out, which slows us down. But we always manage to get back to it. Erragadda has a certain kind of energy. Being in East Avanthi Nagar means we see the same people every day. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. It is just us and the wood. If a customer comes by, we just talk to them directly. There is no middleman here.
