Sri Kamal Industries

Our place, Sri Kamal Industries, is located at Plot No 131/A in the IDA area of Mallapur. It’s an industrial estate, so there aren't many trees or quiet spots around here. Most of the day is filled with the sound of machines and the clanging of metal. We have a fairly large shed where most of the work happens, and a small corner partitioned off as an office. It gets pretty hot during the middle of the day, especially with the metal roof, but we have some big fans that help a little. The floor is concrete and usually has a few scuff marks and oil spots here and there. We don't really have visitors often, mostly just delivery drivers and people we know from the neighboring plots. Everyone in Mallapur is pretty much doing the same thing—just keeping their head down and getting the production done. We eat our lunch together in the office area, usually bringing food from home in steel boxes. It’s a straightforward environment. There’s no marketing team or fancy sales pitch here. We just look at the orders, run the equipment, and make sure the products are ready on time. The road leading up to the plot is a bit bumpy, and it gets muddy when it rains, but that’s just part of being in an industrial zone. We’ve been here long enough that we don't mind the noise or the heat much anymore.
