Narayan Granites

Out here at Survey No 246 in Gagan Pahad, the days stay pretty loud and busy. Narayan Granites isn't some huge operation with dozens of staff members, but we have enough people to move the heavy stuff around when needed. Being in Rajendra Nagar is a good spot for us because there is enough room for the big trucks to turn around without hitting anything. Most days, we are out in the yard early in the morning. The massive granite blocks come in on trailers, and then we have to figure out where to put them so they don't block the entrance. It is often messy work. Water is spraying everywhere when we are cutting the slabs, and the noise of the big saws is something you eventually just get used to. People come by looking for something for their kitchen counters or maybe a new floor. We just show them what we currently have in stock in the yard. Sometimes the natural patterns in the stone don't match up exactly, and we have to explain that's just how nature works. It isn't like buying something made of plastic where every piece is the same. We have had this place for quite a bit now. It is just a regular work yard with stone pieces everywhere. You might even have to step over some small scraps to see the big slabs in the back. We try to keep things organized, but when three trucks show up at once, it gets a little chaotic.
