V. L. Hosiery

V. L. Hosiery is over at Shop No.27 inside the Amit Complex. We are right near the bus stand in Adipur, so you can imagine the noise and the crowd we deal with every single day. Most people just stop by because they are waiting for a bus and suddenly realize they need some new socks or a bunch of vests for their trip. We have been sitting in this spot in Amit Nagar for a good while now. The shop is not huge, but we pack it full of whatever hosiery items people are usually looking for. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside, but we try to keep things organized on the shelves as much as possible. Sometimes the lights in the complex flicker, but we just carry on. It is a family thing, really. My uncle started it, and now we just keep the doors open from morning until late evening. We see all kinds of people here, from students to old folks heading out of town. There is no fancy air conditioning or anything like that, just a couple of old fans that hum all day long. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here too, and we spend a lot of time just drinking tea and talking when things are quiet between bus arrivals. It is just a regular shop where we try to have what people need without making a big fuss about it. We just open up, sell some stuff, and go home.
