Knit

Our setup for Knit is a bit different because we’re located over at the Air Force Station in Naliya. Specifically, we’re tied to the 323Tru area under Sqn Ldr Bk Pandey. Being in the Kutch district of Gujarat, especially near a place like Naliya, means you’re out in a pretty remote part of the world. It’s not like having an office in the middle of a big city. The wind blows hard across the plains and the sun can be really unforgiving. We work out of a building that’s functional and tough. It has to be, given where we are. Our daily routine involves a lot of coordination and keeping things organized in a place where logistics can be tricky. We don't have many distractions out here, so we focus on the tasks at hand for Knit. It’s a small group of us, and we’ve all become pretty close because there isn't much else to do but work and talk to each other. We use simple tools and keep our records in order. We don't have any use for big marketing slogans or fancy branding. It wouldn't fit the atmosphere here anyway. Most of our days are spent just making sure the operations run smoothly and that we’re following the protocols required at the station. It’s a unique spot for a business, but it’s where we are and we make it work despite the dust and the distance.
