Paresh Virda

Down here in Village Galpadar, things move a little differently than they do in the middle of Gandhidham. My name is Paresh Virda and I’ve been handling work from this area for some time. It’s not a shiny office building with glass walls. It’s just a practical space where I can sit down and get through the paperwork that people bring me. Galpadar is a bit more grounded, and you get to know everyone. People drop by often, sometimes just to ask a quick question about a notice they received or how to start a small business registration. The dust from the roads around Gandhidham usually finds its way into the office, so I spend a lot of time dusting off my ledgers. I don’t have a big staff or a marketing team. It’s mostly just me and the work. I spend my days looking at figures and trying to make sense of the new regulations that seem to pop up every month. It’s a quiet life, but the work is constant. I like that I can help people who live nearby without them having to travel all the way into the city center. We sit, we have some tea, and we look at the papers. It’s straightforward. There’s no need to make it sound more complicated than it is. Just keeping the books straight and making sure everything is filed where it needs to go.
