Krishna Engineering Works

Krishna Engineering Works is out in Village Nadapa. If you’re coming from Bhuj, you just head out towards the police station and we’re right near there. Being in the Kachchh district, we get a lot of sun and a lot of wind. The workshop is a bit exposed, but we like it that way. It keeps the air moving while we’re working on the metal. We’ve got a few big machines that take up most of the space. It’s a noisy place when we’re in the middle of a project. We don’t really have a front desk or any place for people to sit. Usually, if a customer comes by, we just talk to them right there on the shop floor. It’s more direct that way. We do a lot of repair work for the local farmers and some of the other businesses around the village. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes we have to wait a while for parts to arrive since we’re a bit far out from the main city, but we manage. The police station is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. We’ve lived in this village for a long time, so we know most of the people who walk by. It’s a simple life. We work hard, we close up shop in the evening, and we do it all again the next day because that is what we do.
