Bharat Engineering

You can find Bharat Engineering at Plot No. 101 in the GIDC Estate. We've been at this same location for quite some time now, and we’ve gotten to know all the neighbors pretty well. It’s a basic workshop setup. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist; you usually just walk in and find one of us near the machines. We handle a variety of engineering jobs, mostly small-scale stuff that bigger shops won't bother with. The equipment isn't brand new, but it’s well-oiled and it does the job just fine. We have a few benches for manual work and a corner for the scrap metal we collect. It’s often quite hot inside during the middle of the day, so we keep the big shutters open to get a breeze. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. Most of our day is spent in greasy overalls dealing with parts and repairs. It’s a simple way to make a living. We have a small group of guys who have been with us for years, so we all know how the other person works without having to say much. Sometimes we have a backlog of work, and other times we’re looking for things to do. We just take things as they come and try to get the orders finished by the end of the week.
