Dipak & Company

Dipak & Company has been located on M.G. Road in Mandvi for quite a long time now. If you know the area, you know that M.G. Road is usually buzzing with people and traffic throughout the day. Our shop is right in the thick of it. It’s not a very big place, just a ground-floor space with some old shelves and a heavy wooden counter where we do most of our business. We’ve kept things pretty much the same for years because the old ways of doing things still work just fine for us. There is a lot of history in this part of Mandvi and we feel like we are a small part of that. We don't have a website or any social media pages because we prefer talking to people face-to-face. Most of our customers are folks who have lived in the neighborhood for decades. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background and there is always a stack of newspapers on the desk. It’s a bit cluttered with ledgers and old files, but we know where everything is. We don't use any fancy management techniques. We just show up six days a week, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It’s a humble way to earn a living but it has served us well. We aren't looking to expand or become a giant corporation. We are just Dipak & Company, doing what we’ve always done on M.G. Road for all these years.
