Nandi Bajaj

The shop here in Nandyal is usually covered in a bit of dust because of the road, but we don't mind much. Nandi Bajaj has been sitting at this spot near Mprabhakar for a while now. Most days it’s just us trying to keep up with the bikes coming in for service or people wanting to look at the new models. The Andhra heat is no joke, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we talk to customers. It’s a lot of work handling all the paperwork and making sure the mechanics have what they need in the back. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks or we run out of chairs when a whole family shows up to buy one scooter, but we manage. People around here know where to find us. We don't really do anything fancy, just open the shutters, sweep the floor, and get to work on the engines. There’s always someone coming in with a flat tire or asking about mileage. It gets loud with the horns outside and the tools clanking, but that’s just how it is. We’ve seen Nandyal change quite a bit from this doorstep. Honestly, it’s just a regular local business where we know most of the faces that walk in. We stay busy with the tools and the ledgers until it's time to head home. That’s pretty much the whole story of our little place here on the street.
