You will find us right on The Mall in Manali. It’s a busy street, probably the busiest one in town, especially when the tourist season kicks in. We’ve been here at this spot for quite a while now. The weather changes fast up here in the mountains, so one day it’s sunny and the next there is a thick mist rolling down the street. Our place is where people end up after walking around the shops or coming back from a day out in the hills. It gets quite cold in the evenings, so the building feels like a good escape from the wind. We see all sorts of people, from backpackers with heavy boots to families who are seeing snow for the first time. The Mall is always full of noise—people talking, bells ringing, and the general hum of a mountain town. We keep things running as best as we can, even when the power flickers or the roads get blocked during a heavy winter. It’s a simple life here, focused on the seasons. Most of the staff are locals who know every shortcut and trail around Manali. We don’t go for anything too flashy; we just like being a reliable spot on the main road. If you are walking past the shops and look up, you’ll see us. It’s a decent place to rest your legs and figure out what to do next for your trip.
