Jai Shri Krishna Ann Jal Cafe

Jai Shri Krishna Ann Jal Cafe is sitting right on N H 21 near Kullu. Most people know this spot as 15 Mile on the way to Manali. We started this small cafe because the highway is long and drivers always need a place to stop for a bit. It is not a fancy building. It is just a simple place where you can get some food and water. We call it Ann Jal because that is exactly what we provide. The mountains here are beautiful but the road can be tiring. We get a lot of truck drivers and families passing through. There are a few of us who work here. We try to keep the place clean, though the dust from the road makes it hard sometimes. The kitchen is basic. We make tea and some simple meals that fill the stomach. We don't have a big menu with a hundred items. Just the usual stuff that people like when they are traveling. The weather gets very cold in the winter months. We try to keep a warm environment for anyone who walks in. It’s been a few years since we opened at this location. We don't do any big advertising. If people see the sign and are hungry, they come in. It is just a regular local business. We work long hours but it is okay. We like the life here. It is just simple food for travelers.
