We aren't a big chain store with bright lights; it’s more of a local spot where people feel comfortable. Sometimes the supply of a certain root is hard to get, so we have to explain why it might take a few days. We keep our notebooks handy to track what people are asking for. The street outside is narrow, so it’s mostly foot traffic and some scooters. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time. It’s a quiet life, mostly just preparing orders and chatting with the locals about their health. We don't do much advertising. Folks just know we’re here when they need something traditional. It’s a bit cramped with all the jars and packets, but everything has its place on the shelves and we know where every single item is kept.
