Vinayaka Foods

Vinayaka Foods is situated at 536 Meethalpaakam in Panamaram. It’s a quiet area, which we like. The pace of life here isn't as fast as the big cities. We handle different kinds of food products. It’s mostly just a few of us doing the daily tasks. We wake up early to beat the heat and get the work started. The building is simple, just four walls and a roof to keep the rain off the goods. Panamaram is a place where everyone kind of knows what everyone else is doing. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a while. Sometimes the delivery truck gets delayed because of the roads, but we manage. We spend our time weighing things out and packing them into bags. It’s repetitive work, but it’s honest. We don’t claim to be the best or anything like that. We just do the job that needs doing. If the floor needs sweeping, we sweep it. If a bag breaks, we fix it. We aren't some corporate office with lots of rules. We just have a way of doing things that works for us. Most of our day is spent making sure the inventory is right. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy and we like the community here.
